How an audit actually proceeds

Six marks on the page, each of them a chance to stop if the window is a lie.

This page is the spine of the module performance audit. A sampling plan covers only the first two marks. A follow-up reuses a spine you already paid to build.

Why the order is stubborn

If we draw before we lock the claim, the chart starts answering a question nobody asked. If we brief before you have seen a draft, the room wastes itself on a misspelled bay. If we fill gaps after the window, we are no longer auditing.

Clients sometimes want the charts first as a “preview.” We do not preview. A half-drawn sheet becomes a rumour on a corridor wall.

What you should have on your side

A counterpart who can open doors. A claim written in a sentence, even if the sentence is modest. A sense of which days are lies (feasts, shutdowns, the Friday the book was left in a van). Permission for us to stand where the module actually works, not in a meeting room with a photograph of it.

If that list is already true, write to the desk. If the window itself is the argument, begin with a sampling plan.

  1. The letter

You name the module, the claim, and the dates you can open. We say whether the unit is bounded enough to walk. If it is only a hope, we say no.

  2. The scope

A short meeting locks the modules, the window, the language of the findings, and where the briefing will sit. Nothing is counted yet.

  3. The window

Observation follows the plan, including the ugly shifts. Missing logs are dated as missing. We do not borrow a neighbour’s Tuesday to fill a hole.

  4. The log and the charts

Giorgi closes the log. Tamar draws ranges and dated marks against the claim you supplied. Decoration that hides a thin sample is refused.

  5. The draft letter

You may mark factual errors — wrong bay, wrong shift name — before the briefing. You may not mark the chart to look kinder.

  6. The briefing

Nino reads the sheets in order. The job ends when the room has heard the findings. Later arguments belong to you.
